Robert Atallah, the founder of Cedarlane, was born and raised in Lebanon, where his mother worked day and night as a seamstress. Upon arriving in the United States with $32, he got a job at a gas station, bought a car, and completed his college education.

He then opened a restaurant called Hungry Pocket, which, after only four months, was named the best falafel restaurant in California by the Los Angeles Times. Eventually Robert sold the restaurant and started Cedarlane, producing all-natural Lebanese food.

Today, Cedarlane is one of the country's leading natural and organic food companies, with 450 employees and a product selection that includes Mexican, Indian, Italian, and Greek dishes.

Cedarlane has nationwide distribution in traditional chain stores, natural food stores, and club businesses.
